Giving to SUA

Through SUA, do the good you want to do.

Your generous financial support of St. Ursula Academy advances our mission to educate each young woman. Every donation matters and ensures each student’s path at SUA will be tailored just for her. When you give to others, you not only change lives, but you also change your life by the joy you receive from giving.

We can’t fulfill our mission without your kind and abundant gifts, and we appreciate every single one.

Annual Fund

SUA’s Annual Fund is the primary annual giving program and assists the SUA community in a variety of immediate ways.

  • We keep the building safe and technology up to date. We want our Arrows to learn and thrive in an environment that meets their educational needs and offers the optimal location for a fulfilling student life, including athletics, performing arts, and sisterhood.
  • We give our athletes the opportunities to compete at the highest level.
  • We advance inclusion and diversity at SUA.
  • We expand on the SUA Leadership Program and set our school on the national stages as the first National Girls’ Leadership School in the country.

“I am so thankful for your continued support of St. Ursula’s education experience. With your generous donations, I have been able to experience an education and sisterhood that I will always cherish and value. I greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness in continuing to support the SUA community.”

Scholarships

Scholarships are a critical part of SUA’s mission to educate and transform young women. We bridge the gap between the tuition fee and the amount a family can afford to pay, and  approximately 70 percent of our students receive assistance. Each year, funds given by families of alumnae, groups of classmates, or community organizations provide essential financial help for a variety of educational needs. Students often receive scholarships for academic success, Student Council service, or other specific situations. Scholarships are awarded based on need, merit, and alumnae status. Those who give towards a scholarship program are not only changing the life of the student, but they are also allowing that student to change the world.

“I can’t believe I earned a scholarship to help with my tuition at SUA! I’m so grateful that an alumnae or friend of SUA generously gave to our school years ago so that girls like me could make their dreams come true—even decades later! My benefactor must have loved SUA as much as I know I will.”

Alumnae Giving

Our more than 10,000 alumnae help shape the future for new Arrows. With a growing database of graduates, we strive to allow our alumnae to feel connected, get involved, and help support young women. Through your donation, you continue the legacy that shaped the person you are today. Give today to a class, cause, or need that speaks to the heart you nurtured at SUA.

“I am so grateful for the experience I had at St. Ursula. Attending SUA had a positive impact on my life in many ways. Because I attended St. Ursula, I gained skills and relationships that I wouldn’t have been able to receive anywhere else. I am excited to be able to support new students at SUA so they can have an amazing experience—just like I did.”

“Thank you so much for your generous support that helped me attend SUA. I’ve made lots of friends, been playing soccer, and staying on top of assignments. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to grow in my faith, academics, and athletics, and to deepen my friendships and relationships. I’m so blessed by your generosity and so thankful that I can go to a Catholic high school to learn about my faith and build a better relationship with God.”

Your generosity makes our mission possible. Thank You!
