Junior Academy

The SUA Junior Academy has special events and activities that make life at SUA unique and engaging for our youngest students.

Catholic Schools Week

This annual celebration of the role Catholic education plays in the lives of young students is an important part of the JA experience. Our students focus on several activities during the special week, including service to their school, community, SUA sisters, and families, as well as educational opportunities to explore and appreciate the world around them.

CYO

JA students may compete in sports through the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). Our JA participates in cross-country, volleyball, co-ed soccer, basketball, outdoor track, and softball. The JA also has independent golf and indoor track teams. Learn More

Clubs

Although the list of clubs often changes based on student interests and participation, the JA girls enjoy membership in groups such as the Sign Language Club, Positivity Club, Book Club, Math Club, STEM Club, and Hat-making Club. Learn More

Family Events

Our JA students delight in having their families visit campus during parent coffees, JA liturgies, and special lunches. Other family fun activities include Mother/Daughter Bowling, the Fall Fun Fest, a Father/Daughter Dance, a pool party, and a summer picnic. Family unity is an important aspect of the JA experience, so parents and family members are encouraged to join students for these special events. Service Opportunities

Our JA students participate in service projects that help their school and community. They work on service projects in group settings and have an active voice in selecting those who will benefit from their assistance. Learn More
