Athletic Facilities
St. Ursula Academy has a variety of athletic facilities designed to help student-athletes train, practice, and perform at their best. Open to all students in grades six to 12, these spaces support athletic development, teamwork, and school spirit. All the athletic facilities are also used for academic purposes, too.

Field House
The Field House is used for SUA high school basketball and volleyball practices and games. It’s also where lacrosse, soccer, softball, and track & field teams practice and condition. The SUA Dance Team holds events and practices here. The Field House is where JA athletic teams host games, practice and condition, too. Arrows gather in the Field House for all-school Masses, pep rallies, assemblies, school events, and more.

EPICenter
The Esser Performance Improvement Center (EPIC) is a 2,500-square-foot-facility located on the mezzanine level of the Field House. It includes free weights, Olympic lifting platforms, cardio equipment, putting greens, a plyometric platform and more. The EPICenter makes it convenient for all athletes to train more effectively and conveniently on campus.

Strasser Field
Named in honor of alumna Patricia (Boyer) Strasser ’63 and her husband, Strasser Field is SUA’s synthetic turf field with a new digital scoreboard and built-in spectator seating. Soccer and lacrosse teams play here, and it is also used for gym classes, outdoor Masses, school picnics, and summer athletic camps.

Softball Field
With a grass infield and covered dugouts, SUA’s softball field is the perfect spot for the Arrows team to practice and play.

Gym
The gym is where JA athletic teams practice, condition, and host CYO games. It also serves as an extra practice and conditioning space for the high school basketball and track & field teams. The softball team utilizes this space for practice as well as batting cages, and the SUA Dance Team can be found here practicing routines. School gatherings, class meetings, special events, and more are also hosted in the gym.

Dance Studio
Complete with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, ballet bars, and a great sound system, SUA’s Dance Studio is the perfect practice and conditioning space for SUA’s nationally ranked Dance Team. It’s also where JA and high school students take their elective dance classes.
