2018 ELECTRIC RUN
What is the SUA Electric Run?
The Electric Run is an SUA tradition! Join your fellow Arrows on a 1.5-mile run/walk through Ottawa Hills. The run will begin and end at SUA. Afterwards, SUA will kick off the 2018-2019 school year in style with an after-party!
When is the SUA Electric Run?
Monday, September 3, at 7:00 p.m.
Where is the SUA Electric Run?
The 1.5-mile route will take you through the village of Ottawa Hills. The race will start and end in the SUA parking lot. Maps of the race route will be available.
Can I still attend if I did not register for the Electric Run?
Yes. You can register at the event for $20. (Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will receive a race shirt and swag bag.)
What if I am not a runner?
Arrows of all athletic abilities can join in the fun! Both runners and walkers are welcome.
Can I just come to the after-party?
No. You must participate in the Electric Run to attend the after-party.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. SUA staff and volunteers, as well as the Ottawa Hills Police, will be along the race route and at every intersection to ensure your safety. JA students will be running/walking with our JA teachers as a group. Safety is our biggest priority!
Can my parents come?
Yes. We would love for all parents to attend, and we will even have an “SUA Parent Tent” where they can connect with friends and meet more SUA parents.
Who can run?
The Electric Run is limited to current and incoming SUA students.
What time is the event over?
Pick-up time for all students is 10:00 p.m.
What do I wear?
Please wear your SUA Electric Run t-shirt or tank top, and anything neon (running shorts, tutus, crazy socks, hats, and glow-sticks galore!). Go all out, we dare you—and don’t forget to take lots of selfies!
