The STEM Club of St. Ursula Academy announces their new website. The address is https://sites.google.com/site/stemtoledosua/
The SUA STEM Club explores opportunities to experiment, compete (and win!), serve, learn, build, invent, and have fun with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). It is open to all SUA students and usually meets after school in the physics room, but varies depending on needs.
Last school year 30 students joined and several members competed and won at the national level in both an engineering design challenge and in a NASA experiment contest. They are currently building a motorized-underwater vehicle for collecting subsurface water and sediment data.
This summer and next school year the STEM Club would like to build Rube Goldberg machines, create equation-based art models, and continue to work on their invention for Father Ric, The Pathway.
