Attendance and Absence Protocols

The Attendance Office is staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please submit all written and email dismissal requests to the attendance office before noon so that your students’ dismissal time can be noted in PowerSchool before the office closes. Students will sign out or in after 12:30 p.m. at the Main Office front desk.

Absences

All absences must be reported to the attendance line at (419) 329-2222 by 9:00 a.m. This line is available 24 hours a day for messages. Students who are not called off will be considered truant and reported to administration.

Appointments

For early dismissals because of appointments, etc., please send a note with your daughter before school starts so that her dismissal can be recorded in PowerSchool well before the appointment time. Runners are not available to retrieve students from classes for last-minute dismissals. Students will exit the building at the Main door after signing out in the attendance office. Please wait in your car at that door to pick her up. Doctor, dental, etc. notes are required following all appointments.

Every Monday night—rain or shine, holiday or school day, summer or winter—students from St. Ursula Academy, St. John’s Jesuit High School, and Notre Dame Academy come together in a simple act of faith: offering food and fellowship to the hungry and homeless of inner-city Toledo.

Service

St. Ursula Academy’s Serviam Program is designed to help students live out the Ursuline charism of contemplative love of God and an openness and eagerness to serve the needs of others.A minimum of 60 hours must be completed at two or more nonprofits/organizations throughout the students’ four years of high school.

Transportation

St. Ursula Academy does not have bus service however various public-school districts do provide service for our students. Information on individual student routes can be obtained from the student’s local school district.

Students are generally bussed to and from a location near their residence or from the public high school.

Anthony Wayne Local School District

Transportation is NOT available; parents who request it will be offered a parental contract for payment in lieu of transportation. A letter of request must be submitted to Anthony Wayne Local Schools Transportation Department.

Evergreen Local School District

Transportation is NOT available.

Lake Local School District

Transportation is NOT available; parents who request it will be offered a parental contract for payment in lieu of transportation. A letter of request must be submitted to Lake City Schools Transportation Department.

Maumee City School District

Transportation is NOT available; parents who request it will be offered a parental contract for payment in lieu of transportation. A letter of request must be submitted to Maumee City Schools Transportation Department.

Oregon City School District

Transportation is NOT available; parents who request it will be offered a parental contract for payment in lieu of transportation. A letter of request must be submitted to Oregon City Schools Transportation Department.

Perrysburg City School District

Free yellow bus transportation to and from SUA; no pass required. Rossford Public School District provides transportation to all Perrysburg students living in the 43551-ZIP code. Contact Perrysburg public school district.

Rossford Public School District

Free yellow bus transportation to and from SUA; contact the public school district transportation department.

Springfield Local School District
