Alumnae News

Our alumnae are doing great things around the world, across the country, and locally in our community.

Each month, we highlight an alumna making an impact. Here, you can find their stories and celebrate their success.

Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Alysse Budd graduated from St. Ursula Academy in 2014. Her transition to the Animal Science-Pre-Veterinary Program at the University of Findlay felt natural, as she found the rigor of SUA comparable to her undergraduate coursework.

For Sierra Sturt ’14, the journey from the hallways of St. Ursula Academy, all the way to Vail, Colorado, was built on a foundation of strategy, core values, and perseverance.

Before coming to St. Ursula Academy, Chelsey (Bentley) Holts ’09 attended Toledo Christian. Choosing SUA was a natural next step for her academic and personal growth. “The amazing academics were a big factor,” she explained.

Tracy Gonia ‘88 followed in the footsteps of her sister, Kelly Gonia ’86, in many ways—attending St. Ursula Academy, playing volleyball, and even working at the same restaurants and video store.

Caitlin’s journey began at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH), where she attended from first through fifth grade. She then moved on to Grove Patterson Academy (GPA) for middle school. When it came time to choose a high school, Caitlin knew St. Ursula Academy (SUA) was the right place for her.
