What year did you join the SUA Board of Trustees?
2025
What are you most proud of being affiliated with SUA?
I am so impressed with the Leadership curriculum. Leadership is my life. I’m a professor of leadership, and I consult and coach on leadership. I cannot properly express my gratitude that my daughters (and all the young women at SUA) are uncovering their true potential and growing in their confidence as leaders!
What SUA Core Value is most meaningful to you, and why?
It would be redundant of me to say that the core value of Leadership is most meaningful to me (but it is at the top of my list!). If I had to choose the most meaningful core value at SUA to me, I would say The Development of the Whole Person. St. Ursula Academy is a community where every young woman can find her passion. There are so many opportunities at SUA, and the students are incredibly involved and engaged, each finding their niche in a supportive environment.
If you had to tell a stranger why you support SUA, what would you say?
I am not from the Toledo area originally, so I do have an opportunity to tell people outside of this area about SUA. We chose SUA for our daughters because of the rigorous academics and faith-based environment. I support SUA for these reasons, but also because I have experienced the special synergy that happens between the students, the faculty and staff, coaches, and other wonderful parents who support this school. They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and SUA is the best village around! Go Arrows!
