Pamela (Lang) Buehrer
English Teacher
How long have you been a part of the SUA community?
I joined SUA at the beginning of the 1978-79 school year.
What is your position at/affiliation to SUA?
Teacher – English and History of Film
What are you most proud of being affiliated with SUA?
I am proud to be a part of a community that is so giving. It has been my second family. I am also proud that our girls leave SUA with a sisterhood that they can always call on.
What SUA core value is most important to you and why?
SUA is a generous community. Our willingness to serve and to give has always been our strongest virtue, the core of our mission.
How she has impacted her students...
“Mrs. Buehrer is one of the most loving people you will ever meet. She loves her job, she loves her school, and she loves everyone in the school. She has this aura about her that makes you feel safe, loved, and happy. She also has a talent for choosing good books for her students to read. I have never failed to love a book she picked out, even a story as intricate and hard to understand as that of a Shakespeare play. All in all, Mrs. Buehrer is an incredible person who I was lucky enough to have in my life.”
