Arrow for a Day
Thanks for your interest in having your daughter spend time at St. Ursula Academy as an Arrow for a Day guest! During her time with us, she will participate in two classes, have lunch with an Arrow friend in our Dining Commons, tour the school, and experience the undeniable sisterhood at SUA. We are so excited to have her!

High School Arrow for a Day Schedule
We structure our high school Arrow for a Day visits as follows:
9:20 a.m. Welcome to SUA!
We know the beginning of each school day is so busy, so we ask you to bring your daughter after our first block so that parking and entering the building is much easier! The Admissions team will greet you and your daughter in our Main Office to explain her schedule and give her an Arrow for a Day goody bag! Our Main Office is directly inside the front doors.
9:30 a.m. Block 2 Class
Our Admissions team will walk your daughter to her first class and introduce her to the teacher. We have the BEST teachers at SUA!
9:35 a.m. Optional Parent Tour
If you would like to stay for a parent tour, please do! Just let us know when you register your daughter for her day on campus.
10:55 a.m. Lunch (on us!) in our Dining Commons and student-led tour
Your daughter and her hostess will have lunch with a friendly group of Arrows. She’s welcome to sample the delicious food and treats from our Marketplace. Before or after lunch, she will get a tour from one of our awesome Arrows!
12:15 p.m. Block 4 Class
We make sure one of our welcoming Arrows walks your daughter to her second class and introduces her to the teacher.
1:40 p.m. Conclusion of her day
After two classes, a fun tour of the school, and a wonderful lunch, your daughter is likely ready to tell you every detail of her day as an Arrow! We will meet in the Welcome Lobby to answer any questions you might have. In a hurry? No problem! Pull up to the front door and we will ensure she leaves safely. We miss her already!

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I receive a confirmation of my daughter’s visit?
Yes! We will send an email confirmation of her visit. Please note that at times our emails go to spam folders. If you haven’t heard from us in 24 hours, check your spam folder.
What should my daughter wear?
We want her to be comfortable during her day with us, so she’s welcome to wear jeans, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, or her school uniform. We just ask that she not wear leggings, as they are not part of our dress code.
Should I come in to drop her off and pick her up?
Either way is fine! If your daughter feels comfortable entering the building through the main doors, we will greet her as she comes in. Similarly, we will watch for her to enter your car at the end of the day. But you are certainly welcome to come into the main office with her at drop-off or pick-up times, too!
Will my daughter have the same hostess all day? What if she has a friend she would like to spend the day with?
We have found our guests enjoy their visit to SUA when they visit classes they are especially interested in. She will have many awesome Arrows that she will meet throughout her day. If she has a friend, we would love to pair them for lunch and the tour.
How do you choose the classes she will visit?
When you register your daughter for her visit, you will select her favorite classes, including extracurricular options. We do our best to have your daughter attend one core class and one elective, based on daily course content, the availability of seating in the class, and overall schedule.
Should I pack her a lunch or send her with money?
She’s our guest, and lunch is on us! She will be able to select a lunch of her choice with plenty of options from our Marketplace. Her name tag will act as payment when she goes through the line. No packed lunch or money are needed! If your daughter has special dietary restrictions, please let us know so we are able to accommodate these needs.
