St. Ursula Academy is excited to offer modified Arrow for a Day for 8th grade girls looking at high school and grades 5th-7th looking at the Junior Academy. Following is the schedule for the visit:
9:45 a.m. - Arrival at the main doors
Our Arrow for a Day will be greeted by the Admissions Team. We will ask that she has her temperature taken on our touchless thermometers.
10:00 a.m. - Block 2 Class
11:20 a.m. - Student-led tour and lunch on us!
12:30 p.m. - Block 3 Class
1:45 p.m. - Departure (we miss her already!)
Please keep in mind the following information for our Arrows for a Day as we adjust our procedures because of COVID-19:
- We ask that all visitors to SUA’s campus perform a self-assessment before arrival.
- Masks are required at all times during the school day, aside from lunch.
- The SUA cafeteria is open, but has a limited menu. We will provide a lunch of her choice, or she is welcome to pack her lunch.
- Select classes are available for our guests to visit. Therefore, Arrow for a Day guests will not be able to choose their hostesses. However, if they would like to have lunch with a specific Arrow, we would be happy to arrange that.
- Arrow for a Day visits must be scheduled at least one week in advance.
- Space is limited, as we are practicing six-foot social distancing in all classrooms. We are able to accommodate five guests per day.
- See Appendix G of SUA’s handbook for further details on our COVID-19 protocols.
General Arrow for a Day reminders:
- Arrow for a Day visits will be confirmed via email.
- Parent tours are available at 10:00 a.m.
- Dress should be school appropriate (we kindly request no leggings).
- SUA follows Sylvania Schools for weather delays and closings.
