Welcome to St. Ursula Academy!

Thank you for your interest in learning more about SUA’s outstanding college prep experience for girls in grades six through twelve. As a Catholic community of learners, our mission is clear: we prepare each young woman for college and, most importantly, for a life of meaning.

Our Ursuline Core Values uniquely combine to create a transformational experience for our students. We have nurtured and empowered generations of young women in a culture that is positive,  and joyful, and promotes self-confidence and a genuine sisterhood. The SUA “feeling,” although difficult to articulate and define, is real!

With parent satisfaction rates consistently at 95 percent or higher and 100 percent of SUA graduates accepted to four-year colleges, earning millions of dollars in scholarships, the value is also real.

Adding to our 167-year history of excellence, St. Ursula Academy was recently selected as the first National Girls’ Leadership School, which will provide cutting-edge leadership  development designed specifically for girls and delivered during the academic school day. This distinction recognizes our commitment to intentional leadership development and rigorous scholarship standards for every young woman.

Beyond academic excellence and leadership development, SUA provides an environment that inspires all to deepen their relationship with God and serve others. SUA’s legacy is its community living and the way we share the vision of Christ through the life of St. Angela Merici, the foundress of the Ursuline Order. Spiritual formation and compassionate service are the foundation of St. Ursula Academy’s purpose and mission.

But we also love to have fun! SUA’s joyful learning environment focuses on developing the whole girl to achieve her unique potential. Traditions that span the generations combine with athletics, performing arts, and other extracurricular activities to holistically develop every girl so that she enjoys her high school years and will back fondly on her relationships and experiences.

A recent quote from a parent of graduates said it well: “The education my daughters have received has empowered them in so many incredible ways.”

That is precisely our mission.

I invite you to learn more. Come visit SUA. Feel for yourself that warm welcome from the minute you step into our building. I’m continually reminded of the special, yet intangible, gift that is a St. Ursula Academy education. I look forward to meeting you!
