SUA Welcomes Yolanda (Robinson) Durden '86 as Alumnae Engagement Coordinator
Josh Yecke, Director of Advancement

St. Ursula Academy is pleased to announce the hiring of Yolanda (Robinson) Durden ’86 as Alumnae Engagement Coordinator.

Yolanda grew up in Toledo and attended Maumee Valley Country Day School prior to SUA. While at SUA, she was an active member in the Afro Club, Home Ec Club, Dance Club, and Intramurals. After graduating from SUA, she attended Bowling Green State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal and public communications and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Toledo. Yolanda’s daughter, Alaina Durden ’14, works at The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center.

Yolanda brings to the position an entrepreneurial background, as she and her husband established and ran a small business for more than a decade. Prior to her time managing their business, she held positions in the non-profit market with the responsibility of drawing communities together for mutual benefit and achieving collective goals. Members of the Class of 1986 have likely seen Yolanda’s name on reunion invitations and other class initiatives, as she has been actively assisting Michelle Moses, Special Events and Advancement Services Manager, with outreach for the past 10 years.

Of her return to St. Ursula, Yolanda said, “I’m excited to take on this new role at SUA and grateful for the foundation of alumnae relationships that Michelle Moses has laid. SUA is as important for young women as it’s ever been, and I can’t wait to offer our alumnae opportunities to engage with our alma mater in really meaningful ways.”

Josh Yecke, Director of Advancement for SUA, said, “We are excited to welcome Yolanda back to her alma mater and to continue to enhance the great outreach to our community so that alumnae engagement remains a vital part of advancing SUA’s mission.”

Please welcome and congratulate Yolanda as she assumes this critically important role, which serves to add value for both our alumnae and our students.
