SUA Grad earns National AP Scholar status
St. Ursula Academy

Katie Karban, Sylvania resident and St. Ursula Academy graduate from the Class of 2018, has been named a National Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar by the College Board for the 2018 AP exam period.

National AP Scholars receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.

Karban will attend the University of Michigan, where she will be studying at the Ross School of Business.

She was also named a National Commended Scholar by the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) in the fall of 2017. In addition, Karban was the salutatorian for the St. Ursula Academy Class of 2018.

Karban is the daughter of Russ and Amny Karban.
