Toledo—St. Ursula Academy honored four impactful community members at its annual fundraiser on November 4. Each year at Serata di Gala: A Night for Scholarships, SUA recognizes individuals who go above and beyond in their professional and philanthropic lives. The event also raised a generous sum for scholarships for current and future students.

Jeff Traudt (Leadership Award)

Jeff Traudt, a parent of three SUA graduates, impacts the Toledo community not only as a local insurance agent, but also as a volunteer.  He has been a member of the University of Toledo Alumni Association and Foundation Board, chairman of the Sylvania YMCA/JCC Board, chair of the St. Ursula Academy Board, and a member of the St. Joseph (Sylvania) Pastoral Council.
 

Jane Krueger Williams ’73 and Sydney Williams ’01, Ph. D. (Humanitas Award)

Jane Williams ’73 is a board member of the Designetics Cares Foundation and is involved in Care for Kids. Both organizations focus on changing the trajectory of children in the Toledo community.

Sydney Williams ’01 is the President of Designetics, a worldwide leader of fluid application solutions. She the board secretary for the Designetics Cares Foundation, as well as a board and committee member for the Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center, St. Francis de Sales School, The Dana Open, Boys and Girls Clubs of Toledo, and Historic South Initiative. She is a mentor for Lourdes University and the Northwest Ohio Mentoring Program. She is also a co-founder of Care for Kids and National Care for Kids Day, which focuses on charting a new course for collaborative giving and maximizing change in communities.
 

Jamie Dandar McKinney ’95 (Alumna Achievement Award)

Jamie Dandar McKinney ’95 is the best-selling author of Speak Up, Sister! The Professional Woman's Guide to Confidence and Success.

Dandar launched a consulting company in 2019, at the heart of which is her signature program, The 3 Pillars of Leadership, which supports women in technical industries. She also coaches through an online course, Speak UP to Level UP®.
