St. Ursula Academy recently hired Coach Ted Gradel as its Varsity Basketball Head Coach. Gradel has 15 years of experience coaching girls basketball at the junior high and high school
levels. He has coached fourth grade through 17U for the Illinois Rocket Girls Travel Basketball Club in Naperville, Ill. While with the Illinois Rockets, Gradel was the Girls Program Director for
eight years and is currently serving his 11th year as a member of the program's Board.

Gradel is a graduate of St. John's Jesuit and the University of Notre Dame, and he is married to a St. Ursula Academy graduate.

Athletic Director Mike Donnelly said, “We believe that Coach Gradel is a fantastic fit for our basketball program and look forward to him leading our teams.”
