St. Ursula Academy (SUA) graduate Leah Yost ’23 earned the Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy (ages 18-23) award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Northwest Ohio chapter. Presented on National Philanthropy Day (November 15, 2023), the award honors young people who have a “proven record of exceptional generosity who, through direct support of their time, talent, and/or treasure, demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility and whose generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles,” according to the AFP website. At SUA, Yost was involved with the Toledo Labre Program, several individual fundraising and philanthropy events, the Ambassador Society, and the Campus Ministry team.
