Since its founding by the Ursuline Sisters in 1854, St. Ursula Academy has dedicated itself to educating and preparing young women to become leaders and contribute to society. Over the past 160 years, as our world has changed, SUA has adapted as well, broadening our curriculum, programs and facilities to meet the needs of each new generation.
Throughout the years, however, we have never wavered in our mission. We remain committed to developing each young woman’s spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional well-being in light of the values found in the Gospel and reflected in the life of St. Angela Merici.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about who we are, our rigorous curriculum and educational programs, our richly talented student body and our distinguished alumnae. You will find we are a community dedicated to educational excellence and discovery, inspired teaching and learning, and honor and integrity. Through it all, we are creating an extraordinary learning environment for adolescent girls and young women.
Please consider this website as an important resource in your effort to learn more, whether you are a family discovering St. Ursula Academy for the first time, a current student looking for information about a class or event at SUA, or an alumna looking to reconnect with your school and classmates.
While we hope we have captured for you the essence of the “SUA spirit,” we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities we provide for you to experience SUA first-hand.
