SUA Welcomes a New Musical Director
Posted 04/01/2014 09:27AM

After an amazing 20 years of service as St. Ursula Academy’s Musical Production Director, Elizabeth Clarke Horrigan made the difficult decision of having the 2014 musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, be her last.

Leaving huge shoes to fill, St. Ursula Academy is thrilled to announce that Kirsten Kedzierski Hinshaw ’00 has accepted the position of Musical Production Director. The Musical Production Director is responsible for planning, promoting and directing St. Ursula Academy’s annual musical performance.

Kirsten combines her successful experience in performance, stage and technical aspects of musical productions with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. While at SUA, she performed as Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Adam/Noah in Children of Eden, Jesus Christ in Godspell and in the Musical Review, Jerry's Girls.

She brings fantastic experience and a love of SUA into her new role. Kirsten commented, "St. Ursula and the St. Ursula Academy Musical have remained very dear to me and I am so honored to direct next year's production.  I am grateful for this opportunity and hope to make the entire St. Ursula Academy staff, especially my mentor, Mrs. Horrigan, extremely proud."

There is no doubt that Kirsten will continue the outstanding level of excellence in SUA’s musical theatre program.
